Fabianski is fit after recovering from knee surgery while Almunia still doubt with chest infection. Diaby got a little knock on the ankle but the problem could be minor and expected to start. Bendtner are one of the international casualties together with Clichy and Vela also will be out for this clash against Birmingham.

Gerrard, Kuyt and Torres all will be major doubt for this week clash against Sunderland after suffering knocks on international duty. Gerrard and Torres both out of training today and has been ruled for this week. Mascherano and Insua will only return to Liverpool squad late Friday evening but they both could start against Sunderland. Good news for the kops Kuyt and Agger is fit.

Bellamy had a little groin, he could start while Toure and Lescott both doubtful.

VDS will start ahead Foster and Owen still out with groin injury. Rooney will be out for this tie after suffering from calf injury during international duty. Berbatov is 50-50 due to the birth of his first child.
